Enjoy A Night Out!
We are all staying home and trying to keep our families healthy and happy. With a little imagination and pulling some items together you can create a “night out” at the movies right in your back yard under the stars. Here’s just how to do that.
Find The Space
Find a spot in your yard, in your garage, or even the perfect spot indoors where you could hang a sheet or projector screen. Make sure there is ample floor room in front for seating.
Grab A Projector
You’re going to need something to stream your movies on and that begins with projectors. The price and quality of projectors can vary greatly.
This is a great project because of its screen mirroring capabilities for any android or iPhone. Crosstour Mini WiFi Projector Synchronize Smartphone Screen Video Proyector Full HD 1080p Supported for iPhone/Android Phones/TV Box/PC/PS4/TV Stick/Tablet. It is available on Amazon for delivery with Prime shipping.
Pick A Screen
Now you’ve got to find the perfect screen size for you. You could purchase this inflatable blow up screen – VIVOHOME 14 Feet Indoor and Outdoor Inflatable Blow up Mega Movie Projector Screen with Carry Bag for Front Projection. This is something that you may use at other events such as football games and more.
I have always used a white sheet hung up and pulled tight so there are no creases in it to take away from what you are viewing.
Check Out Your Sound
If you are going to do an outdoor movie, you have got to have good sound. Most everyone has a set of speakers or a bluetooth speaker available. If you need to purchase one, my son has this and the sound is outstanding. JBL Flip 5 Portable Bluetooth Speaker – Ocean Blue We take this one on the boat and he uses in his truck as well.
Let’s Get Comfortable
Now it’s time to get cozy! Bring out blankets, bean bags, lawn chairs, hay bales covered with blankets and enjoy a great movie! I can think of some great snacks and drinks to go along with the fun.
We may not be able to share with our neighbors and families right now with the social distancing. But think of all the fun you can have in future summer days with good friends, family, refreshments and a movie under the stars right in your back yard!
